Decaffeinated

The espresso-based decaffeinated coffee is extremely digestible and stomach-friendly. The raw beans are decaffeinated and then gently roasted, resulting in an aromatic, full-bodied coffee. It is now many years since Schreyögg replaced the commonly-used decaffeination solvents with the carbon dioxide method. In this process, coffee beans are treated with steam and rinsed with liquid CO2 at a pressure of 80 to 300 bar. The caffeine remains in the liquid, and the coffee is as good as decaf.
